Howie Friday - Head Golf Professional

My name is Howie Friday and I am the Head Golf Professional at Stanley Golf Course. I was born and raised in Bristol, CT and grew up playing golf at Pequabuck Golf Club. I spent 3 years at Pembroke Country Club on the South Shore of Boston as first assistant and then 30 years at Tumble Brook Country Club in Bloomfield, CT. I am happily married to my wife Kate and we have 2 amazing children, Ashley 27 and Will 22. We live in Berlin, CT. 
 
I am currently the President of the CT Section PGA. I was Merchandiser of the Year for the CT Section PGA in 2010 and I take tremendous pride in my golf shop. I have been blessed to have met so many amazing people through this wonderful game and I look forward to meeting more in the coming years! I have a passion for the game but more importantly for the people that enjoy it.

Jenny Mancini- Assistant Golf Professional

My name is Jenny Mancini and I am the new assistant golf professional at Stanley Golf Course. Golf has always been a part of my life. I grew up playing Jr golf at the Golf Club of Avon and I was on the first girls golf team at Avon High School. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a BS in Business Administration, I started working at Blue Fox Run Golf Course. During my 12 year tenure there, I first worked as an Assistant and then as the Director of Golf organizing camps, lessons and the pro shop. For the past 2 years, I was employed at Watertown Golf Club as an Assistant and helped promote and grow both Jr golf and women's golf programs. While there, I was involved in PGA Jr League and PGA Hope. With a background in teaching and coaching, I look forward to promotting the game of golf at Stanley Golf Course.
